CONCEPT MAP REFLECTION
Dominic used a concept map to explain the Navajo clan system. In his presentation, he went  on to explain that the clan system is a maternal system, meaning that the child(ren) follow the mothers clan. he also said that a Navajo person tell what clan they where born into and for what clan he was born for.
Crystal used her map to explain the life of Leonardo Da Vinci. She explained to us that he was born in Florence in 1492. I was unaware that he the Virtruvian Man was a painting that he created. I think her map could be used to explain the beauty of both artist and artwork.
Coryann was the map i really enjoyed, I was aware it was for the nuch younger age range. But the way she structured it made it a map to be used for almost any age group. she used lots of pictures from around the world to show how much hot air balloons are celebrated and how much fun they are for everyone.
Markita completely blew my mind with her concept map, she taught us the low down of DECA. I really had no idea how complex the entire system is. I sat there with mouth agape the entire presentation. it was packed with lots and lots of information. I think what stuck out the most was the competitions. They sound really intense and even harder to win.
Litzia presented a concept map on the ecosystems. I was unaware of how much the ecosystem plays with everything around us, for example the more trees we cut down the harder it is to obtain fresh oxygen. but also i didn't know how much the ecosystem tied in with one another. I also was not even aware that the sun play an extremely important role in each and every ecosystem. I was impressed with this concept map.
